I've got a question for all of you on the last day of the first month of the new year. Ready? What's more exciting than a new Stella digital image? A new GD - Especially someone as sunny, sweet, and. . .dare I say it?. . .stampalicious as Laurie Clout of On the Bright Side!

In her own words. . .

Hello, my name is Laurie and I live in Canada with my Husband and 3 girls. I have loved to craft my whole life, and am thankful to have found paper crafting! It was almost 5 years ago that I was introduced to card making and of course like most I became addicted!

I am so thrilled to be a Guest Designer for Bugaboo Stamps. I love cute, funny stamps because I think a smile or laugh can be the best medicine at times, and Jodie's images do just that!

I'm really looking forward to working with this wonderfully talented team, thanks so much for the opportunity!

Send a Smile for Kids is a charitable blog created for the purpose of collecting donated handmade cards to be distributed to children while they are inpatient at Children’s Hospitals. Currently we are donating them to the Children’s Hospitals in Neenah and Milwaukee, WI, University of Iowa Children's Hospital, Iowa City, IA, Blank Children's Hospital, Des Moines, IA, Sandford Children's Hospital, Sioux Falls, SD, and to the B.C. Children’s Hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia and Stollery Children's Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta, in Canada.

On any given day, there are many children inpatient in these hospitals so we would love to receive as many cards as you can send to cheer them and their families. The kids may also use your cards as Thank You Notes to the nurses and doctors and to give to parents or relatives on special days like birthdays or Mothers or Fathers Day. Any cards appropriate for children are welcome including any holiday (not religious specific please) and happy anyday cards. I so wanted to make a project with this week's Freebie Friday image, but I simply couldn't come up with anything clever to say. I only had two ideas bouncing about the vast space between my ears - 1) Bob Dylan's Subterranean Homesick Blues and 2) "This Space for Rent." Neither was terribly inspiring, in fact both were incredibly lame. . .:( So, it's a rather good thing that despite the enormous amount of projects that the Bugaboo Stamps DT creates each & every week, they nevah-evah run out of creative energy and awesome talent!
