There can be no doubt that the best thing about blurfing (blog + surfing) is scrolling through a person's project pictures, especially when he/she has used
Bugaboo Stamps (more about that on Wednesday). But, the next best thing (for me anyway) is finding out a little bit more about the person behind the project - I simply love reading people's "About Me" because it allows a glimpse into their creative process and what inspires them. Other times, it simply makes me laugh, sigh, or even cry and that's all good too. . .;)
So, I thought I'd abuse my position of authority and make the
Bugaboo Stamps DT (and hopefully our friends - that's you) tell me a little bit more about themselves by making it a part of their job description. . .;) Since
Paul just got back from a vacation on the island of Crete, I started thinking about where I'd like to go on vacation. . .Hmmm. . .;)
Question: If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Cammy: I'd love to go to Scotland and Ireland. I'm fairly certain my Dad's family is from Scotland so it would be wonderful to explore my heritage a bit. Plus, I could listen to the brogues and accents all day long. Visiting the pubs, the beautiful castles and shopping --- sounds wonderful!
Jackie RAK: I think I would love to go to Spain, specifically Barcelona. I went to school for architecture and every time I saw one of Gaudi's creations I swear my mouth dropped open. I have a list of Architect's whom work I want to see first hand, I have already seen some great designs here in the states and in Scotland and London, but I think experiencing Gaudi's creations in Barcelona would be amazing.
Jodie: I would go to Africa! My living room is a safari, elephants being my favorite! I would love to get up close to all the amazing animals! Elephants, and monkeys especially!
Joy: I want to go to Italy and Rome. Want to see the history, meet the people, eat the food ---> have you met me, I love to eat ;)
Lori: I want to go to the Grand Canyon. I would love to hike down, go rafting, stay in a cabin (I am NOT a camper!) and then hike back out. I think it would be beautiful, thrilling, and awe inspiring. Not to mention really fun. I'll be making that trip alone. . .can't sell any of my friends or family on that one. :)
Melissa: I would go to Paris, find a wonderful hotels on the Left Bank off the Rue St Michele and spend my days shopping and visiting museums and finding wonderful scrapbooking stores. Of all the place I've even been Paris has been my favorite. I've had the pleasure of visiting twice.
Michele: I would like to go to Thailand. I'm fascinated with Asian countries and their culture and if possible would like to visit most of them.
Paul: Yipeee, I'm an 'inspiration'!!! I'd love to go to Peru. So much history and culture (and possibly even try some of the food, not quite sure about Guinea Pig though). But the main reason would be to walk the Inca Trail, it has always fascinated me.
Rae Anne: Time in the UK to feed my intellect, time in Italy to feed my soul, and then time in Spain to feed my passion.
Sandye: I would go to Italy--my favorite place in the world! I love the food; I love the language; (I love the men!); I love the fact that house wine costs less than bottled water! I love the history; I love the culture; I love the museums! Such a beautiful place! I've been to several areas, and have yet to find a place that I would not want to go back to! Ah,
la dolce vita!!!!!
Tammy: Ok call me a wuss but if I did not have to worry about snakes and bugs the Rain Forest would be for me so with that said I guess my next fav place would be Australis, that would be very cool!
It's ABC Monday on our challenge blog,
Catch the Bug, so make sure you drop in and see the projects that
Jenny and
Sandye have created.
