With a MOO-MOO here and a HO-HO there
Here a MOO
There a HO
Everyhere a MOO-HO. . .

It's no suprise that Jessica, whose blog is entitled Farm Fresh Designs, would create a such a heifer-licious (beautiful bovine? cute cow?) card using one of Bugaboo Stamps' Candy Cane Critters. Isn't the pink & red paired with kraft card stock simply smashing - I love it!

Jessica Willison of Farm Fresh Designs

{sigh}. . .{smile}. . .OK, now it's time to mosey on over our challenge blog, Catch the Bug, for Amy's tutorial.

09/27/2010 Open Mike Monday (OMM)

Happiest of Mondays to you from all of us here at Bugaboo Stamps! :D

Question: What are you reading right now?

Audrey: I am embarrased to say that I cannot even remember the last thing I read that wasn't a crafting magazine or cookbook!

Jackie RAK: Oh, well recently I have been reading a new book just about ever other day, but at the time of typing this up I am reading Spider bones by Kathy Reichs, her books were used to model the current TV show Bones. Of course I think the books are a million times better, about half way through this new one now.

Jenny: School reading is so much fun! LOL! I'm reading evidence based research journals right now. One of the best journal titles is. . . . "Factors Associated with Youth Homelessness of Adolescents Under the Youth Protection System". Anyone care to join me in reading this? I'm sure you all have better things to do with your time, like make cards =) Or better yet, I would love to have some time to read Joy's pick. I love Nicholas Sparks books!

Jodie: Unfortunately I haven't been able to read a book in a very long time (my DT are slave drivers)..lol. .KIDDING. If I had time to , it would definitely be something by V.C Andrews.

Joy: I am reading Safe Haven, the new one from Nicholas Sparks.

Lori: The Bugaboo Newsletter of course!

Melissa: I love a good mystery and right now I'm reading "The Glass Rainbow" By James Lee Burke It is set in Louisiana. I tend to fall asleep when I read so it takes me forever to get through a book. LOL Not enough hours in a day.

Michele: Well for the past month I have been trying to read the Girl with The Dragon Tattoo, but work and a sick DD kind of got in the way!!! I'm managed to get to page 5.

Paul: I'm currently reading Colour of Magic by Terry Pratchett. I have to admit though that I'm not really enjoying it (I'm not very far in right now though) but it may be one of those ones you have to give time to get into it! If it doesn't work out, I'll be headin back to the Sookie Stackhouse books instead.

Rae Anne: A Country in the Moon: Travels in Search of the Heart of Poland by Michael Moran.

Sandye: I am currently reading "The Girl Who Played With Fire", but the Alaskan scenery--and the activities on the cruise ship--kept me from reading the entire book. I did read on the plane trip and am currently in a very exciting part!

It's ABC Monday on our challenge blog, Catch the Bug, so make sure you drop in and see the treat that Jackie Randolph has in store for you.

Halloween in 3D Challenge Saturday

Height x Width x Depth

No it's not algebra {shudder}, but the formula for this week's challenge. Make a card or project with some 3D oomph - How 'bout an ABC? An easel card? Dimensionals? Big, fluffy ribbons? I think I've made my point. . .;)

Post a link to your card on our challenge blog, Catch the Bug, by 10/02/2010 at 7:00 AM to be entered in a random drawing for one of three Bugaboo Stamps digi prize packs - seven, four, or two digi images.

So maybe Jackie's a bit of an over-achiever, but HOLY COW & WOW!!!

Good night, I think that it's way past time for me to pack up my toys and go home. . .;)

Tidbits & Tutus Tuesday

Stella walked right up to Jodie, bopped her upside the head with her wand, and demanded another release. I do believe that she might be getting a bit too big for her tutu! Poor Jodie, always laboring in the shadows while Stella grabs all the spotlight. . .;)

You can purchase more of our demanding diva here, and you can see what she made the rest of the DT do for her on our challenge blog, Catch the Bug.

Note: Every attempt is made to get digi images uploaded to the store by noon EST for New Release Tuesday, but please accept our apologies and check back later in the day if they're not there at that time.

09/20/2010 Open Mike Monday (OMM)

It's a merry, but manic Monday here at Bugaboo Stamps, so let's keep it simple today, OK? ;)

Question: What's your single favorite color of card stock, and who makes it?

Cammy: Like everyone else, it is really hard to pick just one color. But, I'd have to rank Cool Caribbean from Stampin' Up as one of my tops. I really love how it looks with a variety of colors -- I just paired it with Pure Poppy from PaperTrey Ink for my daugher's birthday invitations. A completely unexpected combo and I love it. I just wish SU would have brought Cool Caribbean back wtih the new colors!

Jackie RAK: We have to pick only one?! OK, if I HAVE to choose, I would say Aqua Mist from Paper Trey Ink, I don't know what it is about the color, but I have to put it down so many times! I swear I reach for it all the time, but I am a blue and teal gal, so that could be why.

Jackie RAN: Oh this is impossible to pick one single favorite - but after glancing at all my paper, now that did more than a glace more like a few minutes :). PTI is my favorite in card stock and I am going to say Hawaiian Shores has to be one my many favorites.

Jenny: If I had to pick just one it would be Pretty in Pink by SU.

Joy: I love So Saffron by Stampin' Up. I'm not a yellow person, but I find myself reaching for that color over and over for a lot of my projects. It's not bright, not dull, I just love it!

Lori: It's hard to narrow it down to one favorite, but if you're going to MAKE me choose I would say Lime Crush by Bazzill. Love it.

Melissa: Darn. How can I pick just one. Since SU is my fave cardstock I would have to say their Old Olive. You can mix it with so many colors and it looks really great when you use bleach on it.

Michele: This is tough because I choose color based on my mood. But, I tend to reach for Aqua Mist by PTI the most often.

Paul: I have a tendency to grab Old Olive by SU a LOT. I like how it looks with Chocolate Chip which I think is my fave colour combo all year round) and with Real Red at Christmas.

Rae Anne: Stampin' Up! Melon Mambo.

Sandye: My favorite cardstock color is Kraft by PaperTrey Ink. It was a hard decision for me, because I love ALL of their cardstock. I find that I do use a lot of Kraft, however.

Scrappy: My favorite color is 'Real Red' by Stamping Up! It was the first cardstock color I bought from SU, and continues to be used consistently for alot of my papercrafting. It remains my favorite red cardstock, both for the crisp color and for the weight of the cards and projects I make using it!

Amy (GD for 09/2010): That's a tough one, I always coordinate my colors with the image I color. Such a variety really. But. . .I think my favorite color is black. I tend to sue a lot of back to compliment the other colors. Black goes with everything.

It's ABC Monday on our challenge blog, Catch the Bug, so make sure you drop in and see the projects what Cammy's been up to.

But before you do, please let me reiterate Bugaboo Stamps' commitment to Operation Write Home. We sponsored a special challenge in honor of their second birthday this past Saturday, 09/18/2010, on our challenge blog, Catch the Bug. Whirling, swirling, twirling autumn. . .I love it! :D

Almost as much as I love Bugaboo Stamps' A Kid's View digi images.

Al-most as much as I love Jackie's card below. . .Look at that teensy-weensy ears of corn embellishment! Isn't that just the cutest little sugar-booger that you've evern seen?!? Can any of the other DT members beat it? I don't know - You'll have to judge for yourself on our challenge blog, Catch the Bug. . .;)

09/15/2010 Wednesdays Around the Web (WAW)

If you read Open Mike Monday's introductory post, you probably have a pretty good idea of what Wednesdays Around the Web is all about. . .;) If not, let me iterate that the best part of blurfing (blog + surfing) is oohing & aahing over the projects that people have created, especially when they were created using Bugaboo Stamps digi images. . .{sigh} Especially x 2 when the person that created them is someone whose work you worship from afar. . .{swoon}

And so, every Wednesday we're going to feature the kind of "I-am-here-to-live-out-loud" project made using Bugaboo Stamps that simply rocks our world. . .:D

Elaine Hughes of Quioxtic Cards

OK now, pick your jaw up off the keyboard, wipe the drool off your chin, and then head on over to our challeng blog, Catch the Bug, for this week's Tutorial Wednesday.

Which Witch is Which for New Release Tuesday?

If any single one of Bugaboo Stamps' characters has "witch" so plainly tattooed across her forehead, it's gotta be Stella. . .;) As if to confirm that, Jodie's released some new images of Stella and her sister witches here just in time for a Happy Halloween!

You can see what Paul, our lone warlock, created below, but to see what else the coven's been up to, fly on over to our challenge blog, Catch the Bug.

Note: Every attempt is made to get digi images uploaded to the store by noon EST for New Release Tuesday, but please accept our apologies and check back later in the day if they're not there at that time.

09/13/2010 Open Mike Monday (OMM)

There can be no doubt that the best thing about blurfing (blog + surfing) is scrolling through a person's project pictures, especially when he/she has used Bugaboo Stamps (more about that on Wednesday). But, the next best thing (for me anyway) is finding out a little bit more about the person behind the project - I simply love reading people's "About Me" because it allows a glimpse into their creative process and what inspires them. Other times, it simply makes me laugh, sigh, or even cry and that's all good too. . .;)

So, I thought I'd abuse my position of authority and make the Bugaboo Stamps DT (and hopefully our friends - that's you) tell me a little bit more about themselves by making it a part of their job description. . .;) Since Paul just got back from a vacation on the island of Crete, I started thinking about where I'd like to go on vacation. . .Hmmm. . .;)

Question: If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

Cammy: I'd love to go to Scotland and Ireland. I'm fairly certain my Dad's family is from Scotland so it would be wonderful to explore my heritage a bit. Plus, I could listen to the brogues and accents all day long. Visiting the pubs, the beautiful castles and shopping --- sounds wonderful!

Jackie RAK: I think I would love to go to Spain, specifically Barcelona. I went to school for architecture and every time I saw one of Gaudi's creations I swear my mouth dropped open. I have a list of Architect's whom work I want to see first hand, I have already seen some great designs here in the states and in Scotland and London, but I think experiencing Gaudi's creations in Barcelona would be amazing.

Jodie: I would go to Africa! My living room is a safari, elephants being my favorite! I would love to get up close to all the amazing animals! Elephants, and monkeys especially!

Joy: I want to go to Italy and Rome. Want to see the history, meet the people, eat the food ---> have you met me, I love to eat ;)

Lori: I want to go to the Grand Canyon. I would love to hike down, go rafting, stay in a cabin (I am NOT a camper!) and then hike back out. I think it would be beautiful, thrilling, and awe inspiring. Not to mention really fun. I'll be making that trip alone. . .can't sell any of my friends or family on that one. :)

Melissa: I would go to Paris, find a wonderful hotels on the Left Bank off the Rue St Michele and spend my days shopping and visiting museums and finding wonderful scrapbooking stores. Of all the place I've even been Paris has been my favorite. I've had the pleasure of visiting twice.

Michele: I would like to go to Thailand. I'm fascinated with Asian countries and their culture and if possible would like to visit most of them.

Paul: Yipeee, I'm an 'inspiration'!!! I'd love to go to Peru. So much history and culture (and possibly even try some of the food, not quite sure about Guinea Pig though). But the main reason would be to walk the Inca Trail, it has always fascinated me.

Rae Anne: Time in the UK to feed my intellect, time in Italy to feed my soul, and then time in Spain to feed my passion.

Sandye: I would go to Italy--my favorite place in the world! I love the food; I love the language; (I love the men!); I love the fact that house wine costs less than bottled water! I love the history; I love the culture; I love the museums! Such a beautiful place! I've been to several areas, and have yet to find a place that I would not want to go back to! Ah, la dolce vita!!!!!

Tammy: Ok call me a wuss but if I did not have to worry about snakes and bugs the Rain Forest would be for me so with that said I guess my next fav place would be Australis, that would be very cool!

It's ABC Monday on our challenge blog, Catch the Bug, so make sure you drop in and see the projects that Jenny and Sandye have created.

It's an Oldie, but a Goody Thursday

Thursday's the stamping equivalent of finding a $20.00 bill in your the winter coat that you just pulled out of storage.

"When did this happen?"

"How could I have possibly forgotten it?"

"I'm going shopping right now!"

Those are the same kinds of thoughts that I had about Lori's Stella Calendar Months card. . .:)

"I don't remember this release."

"How could I not remember it?"

"I'm going to Bugaboo Stamps to buy this image right now . . .cha-ching!

And don't even get me started on Angie's fabulous little broom and gorgeous shades of purple of green! She's got some seriously mad stampin' skillz. . .;)

a very important fundraiser!

Afternoon everyone C:

I wanted to let you know Bugaboo is sponsoring a very important fundraiser.
My friend Alison at Stretch n bubbles is holding it over at her site:

Her dad had a stroke and the fundraiser is to help for his expenses and recovery.
Now, I live in Saskatchewan, Canada, and am soooo lucky!
We do not have to pay for things like this. it's all covered for us!
Thank goodness ! as the stories I have heard about the expenses are horrendous, especially when down here it is all free!
I cant even imagine the burden on that debt, especially when you are trying to recover and get back on your feet.

SO...Bugaboo has donated a Santa stamp for this. You can buy 5 stamps from 5 different companies over at Alisons blog. 5 digi stamps for only $10.00! very cute ones I might add!

The bonus is, whoever buys these stamps, not only will you be helping Alison's family out greatly, you will also have a chance to win a set of these Halloween digis from Bugaboo...! and there's more....

On top of the chance to win these digis from us, there are also chances to win blog candy and a gift certificate!
You can find all the details on this fundraiser here:

Tutorial Wednesday, Sponsorships, & News

To continue of all things spooky and spectacular, sneak, slither, or sidle your way over to our challenge blog, Catch the Bug, for Tutorial Wednesday. Jackie's got a terrific tutorial for a trick-or-treat bag today.

Bugaboo Stamps is sponsoring The Stamping Boutique's The Latte Lounge for the entire month of 09/2010.

And today, Bugaboo Stamps is sponsoring Sweet Sketch Wednesday, one of my most favorite blogs for sketch challenges.

Joy Stagg is filling in for Jeanie Witmer for 09/2010 and 10/2010 and Amy Ely is our new GD for 09/2010.
